https://seedream5-ai.com charges for generation in credits. An account is required; signed-in users receive a free daily credit allowance on first claim each day.

## Credit costs per image

- Seedream 5 Lite — 14 credits
- Seedream 5 Pro — 9 credits
- Seedream 5 Flash — 5 credits
- Seedream 4.5 — 8 credits

Other models hosted in the same dashboard draw from the same balance and show their cost on the model selector before generation.

## Plans

- Subscriptions provide a monthly credit allowance.
- Credit packs are pay-as-you-go top-ups; pack credits never expire.
- Credits reserved for a task that fails are refunded automatically.

## Limits that affect cost

- Image output is one file per generation.
- Image-to-image uses the same per-image credit price as text-to-image for the selected model.
- The video workspace has its own per-second credit pricing — see the workspace before sending a frame to animate.
- There is no developer API on this site, so there is no API billing.
